Build System

I noticed a while back you switched to buildr and then more recently SBT. What has been your opinion of each?

I am looking at moving away from ant for my own project and away from ant for a project at work.

I am a fan of Jenkins and automating as much as possible.

I would also be interested in hearing about the build setups of others using parboiled.

Thomas,

since nowadays I do most of my coding in Scala, SBT is the natural choice for me and I am quite happy with it.
However, for pure Java projects it probably isn't the best of choices.

Buildr seemed like a good option at the time but I was somewhat disappointed with the amount of activity in its community. It seems things are moving very slowly with it at this point.
I never really looked at Gradle in depth but its community appeared a lot for vigilant than Buildrs, so I would recommend you give it a spin as well.

In the end it's probably a matter of taste and personal preference....

Cheers,
Mathias
