Customized error messages in parboiled: what is the status?

Hello,

I know I have seen a thread "passing by" which mentioned this feature; and I remember reading that this was a good idea, but not implemented yet.

What is the status of this evolution at the moment? I am quite interested in it too...

I've managed to get quite nice custom error message feedback, including which tokens *would* have been valid.

My solution uses an Exception handler and a PartialFunction, it's not very complex.

Interesting, Bryan, thanks for the pointer!
With [parboiled2][1] we are currently trying to make the generation of custom error messages much simpler, so hopefully you won't have to jump through this many hoops with the next version...
